Meeting the New Family Member.

Whilst on Skype, Elder Meyer was able to see his sister Rachel's pregnant belly for the first time. He still can't believe it and that he will be an uncle in only a short few months. Just in time for him to come home to!

Reunited with Elder McDonald.

So I am in Galway now. It is a great place in Ireland. Our flat is great! We share it with two other missionaries, so there are two sets of missionaries here. This is the first time during my mission that there has been the four of us together. It is great, I love it. It is so much fun as we get to hang out with them during lunch, dinner and at night.

My new companion is Elder McDonald. He is in my group and he was my MTC (Missionary Training Centre) companion, which is quite funny. It is great to be with him again. I love him!

There is also a senior couple in Galway. There names are Elder and Sister Wilson. They are from Canada and Elder Wilson is the branch president.

Elder Meyer is moving to... GALWAY, IRELAND.

I bet you are all wondering what happened with moves for me!

Well I am leaving... and I will be going to Galway, Ireland. I think its on the west side of Ireland. It is funny because my new companion is Elder McDonald. He is in my group, and he was my MTC companion. So that will be fun to be with him again. I am excited to go to Galway too, it should be a fun.

Will I Stay? Will I Go?

I am loving it here in Terenure! We have moves call next Sunday so next Monday I will be letting you know either if I will be leaving or staying in Terenure. I think one of us will be moving because we have been together for 3 moves now.. so I think one of us will be leaving which is going to be sad! I have loved serving with Elder Rollins. He is a great missionary, I love him and we have gained such a great friendship with each other. I will miss his companionship!

Celebrating Thanksgiving.

This week we celebrated thanksgiving. We were over at a members home for the occasion.  We had turkey and mash potatoes, and some pie as well. Not pumpkin pie though, but we did have some pumpkin pie given to us by the senior couple in Dublin, they were nice in giving it to us, I haven't eaten my piece yet. Yesterday at a members home we had some pumpkin pie for desert it was really good, I would love to come back to Australia and celebrate thanksgiving, it is a great time of the year a great day of the year.

Just to get us all in the Spirit of Thanksgiving, here is a little video on what the general public in New York are thankful for. Now, what are you thankful for?
